It's the 70s again, right?

I am a child of the 70s, but I was a child back then. I wore plaid shirts with giant collars, and dungarees with porkchop pockets, and Easter pink ponchos hand-knitted by my grandmother. I didn't wear the cool, lanky, hippie-chic styles of the women of the 70s, so I'm enjoying the resurgence now. It's different this time, of course, and it's not a total duplicate of the era, but I like adding in details from then.

So it was fun to pair up my new white turtleneck sweater (hello, ON sale!) with a new tied vest from Gap on Monday. The colors were begging for my brown NYDJ pontes, which of course went perfectly with the brown BOC sueded heeled clogs. One long gold pendant necklaace later and the 70s were back!

I am telling you, the Gap is ON FIRE lately. Such great interesting pieces they are coming up with! I love this vest.

It's chilly here so bundling up in turtlenecks is still in. I'm looking forward to spring, but I think I have finally found my groove in this in-between season.
