Good thing I loved my cute oufit:

Pinks and reds are making me very happy this gloomy spring. My little red cutout Target flats and the Elle pink draped top from Kohls work nicely together, don't you think? I added a red Caslon camisole, my sheer grep draped LOFT sweater, and the ever-present black pants. Couldn't even make it through the shoot before I started tucking my hair behind my ears. It's my worst hair habit.

Saturday was weird. It was cold, but not cold, and rainy, and then that turned into fat wet snowflakes and then back to rain and cold-ish. I layered up and wore sandals, and was perfectly warm enough. That's how weird the weather was.

Gold Bateau cascading cardigan, purple v-neck heather purple Gap tee, Gap Long and Lean jeans, gold-purple-cream-teal patterned scarf from Target. The sandals were (WERE) my Clark Laguna Reefs from last year, which are out in stores again this year. Thank God -- they broke while I was out shopping (for shoes, ironically). BROKE!!!

Thank God I was able to replace them immediately. I would be bereft. (And yes, Kate and Jessie, I am keeping the replacement. Turns out my feet were just sore, the sandals were fine.)
I like the outfits... specially the second one. That purple+tan look fabulous together.
ReplyDeleteOMG your sandals ! you were lucky you were at a place where you could replace them.
I was at a cocktail in a museum a few years ago and my shoes fell apart. Literally. I was so ashamed.
I love that tan sweater - so cool. You're so lucky you were able to replace your sandals! I last had that happen many many years ago, thankfully.
ReplyDeleteI hear ya on the weather - arg!
