Dress, shoes, necklace. Done.
Okay, more detail: kickass Kohls dress, tan Me Too platform heels from DSW, gold hoop necklace from NAS (which really is proving that it goes with everything).

These shoes always knock me out; they're really, really heavy, so every step I take is a workout in itself. By the end of the day, my feet aren't sore, my thighs are tired, like I was doing leg lifts all day. It's kind of cool, to tell you the truth.

You've seen all of these items several times, but never together before. I suppose I could have pretended I am doing some type of blogger-y challenge, like a 30-item 30-day thing, or a remix, but the reality is this is what all of us do every day; we wear our clothes in different combinations. I try not to repeat the same combination from head to toe, and i don't think I did here. In fact I probably won't wear these shoes with this dress again; the dress is a little short for heels this high. I like flashing a little leg, but this felt excessive.

Daily Food Tracker: Thursday
You have no idea how badly I do not want to write down my food intake. It was really, really, really, really bad. I am actually embarrassed. I didn't think about the cumulative damage until I had polished off the pizza at dinner. (Yeah, that's how bad it was. PIZZA. Sigh.)
Okay, here goes. No judging! I know it was terrible.
Breakfast: Einstein breakfast bacon and cheese thin bagel sandwich
Snack: watermelon
Lunch: Chipotle burrito bowl with fajita peppers, carnitas, rice, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese (that rice is the freakin' devil. I have no willpower against it.)
Snack: shortbread cookies
Dinner: spinach and onion pizza, beers
Good Lord. No wonder I gained all the weight back. This was a pretty common type of day back when I wasn't "dieting". Except I probably wouldn't have even had the watermelon.
I'm going away this weekend, and I probably won't be eating that great while we are gone, but I feel pretty sure it won't be as bad as this. Maybe. :)
I'm finally commenting -- I guess I was motivated by your love of Chipotle's rice :-) I've gained and lost a bunch of weight over the last few years and my FF weakness is Chipotle. I usually get a burrito bowl, 1/2 ladle of rice, pinto beans x 2 (because they are so good and cooked in bacon), tons of fresh salsa, corn salsa, some lettuce, and guac. It's been loaded on the veggies and I feel like I got my fix. Plus, the guac covers for the cheese/sour cream. Don't beat yourself up...weight loss is a marathon, not a sprint! PS - I have the 3/4 sleeve striped dress from Target. I thought it fit great until my husband asked me to never wear it again because it made him dizzy and nauseas. Oh well :-)
ReplyDeleteI like simplicity in the morning too. If I could go to work at 2PM, I'd probably have some intricate looks : > Love those shoes and your necklace looks like it could be an heirloom!
ReplyDeleteI feel you with the rice. I was able to give up potatoes (they really are demonic), but I love rice and brown rice is really good for you! At least in some portion that I can't seem to stick too. So now it's an occasional treat. I remember vividly that first day on WW when I had dirty rice and saw how many points it was. Gaaa.
ReplyDeleteWell, try not to beat yourself up too much over one day. We all have days like that. And you still made good choices. You had a burrito bowl at Chipotle instead of a burrito (that tortilla is so bad for you), and you had spinach and onion pizza instead of a meat lover's or something along those lines.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure how you track your meals, but I do find that it helps if I log all of my food as I eat it (often I do it before) so that I can really see how much I'm eating for the day.
I think I need a pair of those 'workout shoes' you're sporting because they look much, much better than Shape-Ups or whatever they're called. ;)
ReplyDeleteI like the amount of leg you're flashing - I think it looks terrific!
ReplyDelete"Except I probably wouldn't have even had the watermelon." LMAO!!!!
Gosh, I am so addicted to Chipotle. At least you don't eat it a couple times a week like some of us over here...
