Wednesday: More Gifts from Shopping Friend

Another new-to-me dress, courtesy of Shopping Friend! This one is a Talbots from a couple of years ago; she gave me both the brown and the black versions. Heehee, we've been friends and shopping buddies for so long now, she's handing down clothes I bought *with* her now. It's the circle of life! :)



It was so cute on its own, with a peacock blue Caslon camisole underneath and my super-awesome spring Aquatalia boots. It was rainy and kind of cool yesterday, so the boots had to come out and play. I'm a little sorry I got the boots a half-size smaller than usual; I like the snug fit on the top of my foot and they don't cause any pain or anything, but it's rough getting my foot in there sometimes. I wear a pair of Oroblu microfishnets to help slide them in.

Since it was cool and rainy, I tried pairing the outfit with my short-sleeved Loft jacket. It worked okay for getting into work, but once there I had to switch to a long cream cardigan because of the cold air.

It's pretty cool out today. Finally I will be able to dress the same for the indoors and the outdoors!
